Allah ta’ala says,
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَكَانُوا يَتَّقُونَ لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَىٰ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ
Those who believed and were fearing Allah: for them are glad tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. (10:62-63)
Allah has connected receiving these glad tidings in the dunya and aakhirah to emaan and taqwa. The glad tidings the believer receives in this dunya are [...]

Allah ta’ala says in surah Muddaththir:
فَمَا لَهُمْ عَنِ التَّذْكِرَةِ مُعْرِضِينَ كَأَنَّهُمْ حُمُرٌ مُّسْتَنفِرَةٌ فَرَّتْ مِن قَسْوَرَةٍ
Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away, As if they were alarmed donkeys, fleeing from a lion? (74:49-51)
Allah compares them in their turning away from the Qur’an to a donkey that sees [...]

Allah ta’ala says in surah Zukhruf,
وَلَوْلَا أَن يَكُونَ النَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً لَّجَعَلْنَا لِمَن يَكْفُرُ بِالرَّحْمَـٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمْ سُقُفًا مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيْهَا يَظْهَرُونَ
وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ أَبْوَابًا وَسُرُرًا عَلَيْهَا يَتَّكِئُونَ
وَزُخْرُفًا ۚ وَإِن كُلُّ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَالْآخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
And if it were not that the people would become one community [of disbelievers], We would have [...]

مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

“Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [...]
