Your Chance to Learn the Qur’an, Again!
Bismillah
إن لله تعالى أهلين من الناس، أهل القرآن هم أهل الله وخاصته
‘Indeed Allah has people from amongst Mankind. The people of Qur’an, they are the people of Allah and His Specialties.’
[Ahmad, Ibn Majah]
Alhamdulillah, Al-Huda Insitute’s Ta’leem al Qur’an course is starting a new session inshaAllah.
I’ve written about Al-Huda and my experience with this great institute in many posts, so instead of sharing those thoughts again, I will share some testimonials from past and recent students:
If you’ve ever found yourself saying, I wish I could ‘truly’ understand the Quran, Al-Huda is the answer and has been the answer….for many women and now men too. Al-Huda has to ability to take students with no prior Arabic/Quranic background and teach Arabic through just the Quran. Once a student completes the first Juz, they already know more than 60% of the words in the Quran. Rather than spending 5-10 year trying to learn Arabic before even touching the Quran (plus keep in mind the Quran is written is in classical arabic), Al-Huda teaches both simultaneously which allows a student to immediately start grasping each verse’s meaning and hukm. May Allah continue to bless and protect them.
I just started taking AlHuda’s Taleem ul Quran course a few months ago and I regret not taking it earlier. I have learned SO much over these past few months alhamdulilah and I recommend it to anyone and everyone. It’s not only for household moms who have nothing better to do with their time but its for high school and college students as well.
My love for the Qur’an grew so much after starting this course and my understanding of it is on a totally different level now alhamdulilah.
May Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala reward Dr. Farhat for starting this institute and may He grant her and all it’s teachers success in this dunya and Jannatul Firdous in the akhirah, ameen.
I remember my mom would take these classes when I was a child. She got to a point where she could piece together the meaning of an ayah from the vocabulary she learned. She then taught what she learned to my brothers and I. Alhamdulillah, that’s part of the reason why I have any Islam in my heart at all.
I joined Al-Huda in 2008 December its only been one year and four months since i started taking the classes, and i have observed a dramatic positive change in myself. I thank Allah for blessing me with this knowledge.
Words are not sufficient to describe the wonder of the Quran! I honestly feel every person on the planet needs to attend this class. It was like a whole new dimension. I had read the Quran many times before then, with translation, some tafseer here and there but this was different. Words were seeping into my heart, my life was changing, my view of the world was changing and i better understood what Allah wanted from me. That Ramadhan was one of my most memorable ones as i understood about 70-80% of the recitation of Quran during taraweeh prayers after only having attending classes for a few months. I actually understood Arabic!!! (and im not arab) not just that but i understood the deeper meaning, context etc.
I went from being born Muslim to wanting to be Muslim. Alhamdulillah. Its not Dr. Farhat Hashmi or any instructor or institute – it’s the light of knowledge the simple yet powerful understanding of Qur’an and Sunnah that transforms the heart and mind and eventually our actions.
It’s time to give the Qur’an the time it deserves. Sign up today to be apart of this life changing experience.

I’ve been taking the part time course for a year now alhamdulillah, and I have to say in all honesty with my heart that if you can take any of the AlHuda Taleemul Quran courses and you don’t, then please step back and ask yourself on the Day of Judgement when Allah azzawajal questions you why you didn’t learn the Quran, what will you say? REALLY, what could you say?
Is it not time for the people to learn the Quran instead of just being content that you “read” it? What benefit is it to “read” something you don’t understand - is that even reading at all? Quran came down to be implemented. How can you implement and understand when there are so many misinterpretations, mistranslations and the simple BEAUTY of the Quran is lost?
I could go on and on but, please please if you can take any of the courses and have the time DO IT!!!! InshaAllah you won’t regret it for sure. It completely changes you.
Alhamdulillah for AlHuda. May Allah ‘azzawajal continue to put barakah in it. Ameen.
Anyone know when the next time the online weekend ta’leem course will start and whether brothers can take it or not?
Assalamualykum dear sis,
Jazakillahu khairaa for sharing.Subahanallah .I highly recommend everyone to take these courses because your priorities will be changed and you will add a different dimension to your life .You will be amazed at every single ayah and your love for Allah will increase more and more.
Some of us will be scared and be thinking can I do it or can I handle the responsibility? Inshaallah Allah will make the path easier..
i want to know when 2010 weekend courses will start
Salaam u alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh dear sisters,
please everyone. make dua for me. i am trying to register for the full al huda course in dubai. there are other courses here also but they started long time back and they are not full (with the scholarly books and stuff). my only two problems are transport and the fact i will have to miss one whole month of the classes due to my board exams. i will have to convince the teachers to make up with during the summer holiday.
Even a friend of mine is interested in doing this course but she is also having similar problems. This friend has a lot of interest in doing the course.
Also pray for AS Level board exams. I don’t want to make my angry by not getting good grades, or she might change her mind about putting me in the institute and even if she does put me there, she will not forgive me. I must get minimum B grades in all four sinjects im taking.
So may Allah give me good grades in my AS Levels and mat He make the Path easier for us all, Ameen.
br. Zubair,
yes brothers can take the courses. My brother is taking the Friday conf call course. Here is a link w/all their courses http://www.alhudaonlinecourses.com/.
All these courses have already started but you can join at any time. If you can do it, please do! It can only benefit you. Don’t let shaytaan trick you into thinking “oh they’ve already started you could never catch up.” Not at all!!! I’ve seen sisters come in at juz 5, 6 or 7 and alhamdulillah they’re getting the hang of it. My group-incharge came into the full time course 3 months after they started - imagine how much she had to catch up on. But alhamdulillah she stuck to it and got the hang of it after paying attention very closely in class and working with her group in-charge whenever she didn’t understand. If you have the will, then make duaa to Allah that He makes it easy for you.
