Eid al Fitr 1430

Bismillah

Asalamu Alaykum!

Eid Mubarak to all readers, taqabal Allahu minaa wa minkum! (May Allah accept from us and you)

I hope and pray that Allah ta’ala ended Ramadan for you with His Pleasure, Forgiveness and Protection from the Fire. Ameen.

We spent this past month listening and reading the Qur’an, so now let’s take the next 11 to learn it.

I want everyone to make the intention now that they will do something to bring them closer to the Qur’an; be it taking a memorizing class, an Arabic class, a tafseer class, buying a book on the Qur’an or listening to a lecture on the Qur’an…

I’ve made this intention :) Who will join me?

Comment with a: “Bismillah!” and mention what you will do inshaAllah.

If you don’t have an idea, I’m here to help if you would like suggestions on what YOU can do to come close to the Book of Allah.

If you have any suggestions, they would be helpful! Thanks and HAPPY EID

Bismillah

InshaAllaah I will continue the taaleemul Qur’aan course. I also heard an awesome lecture by Nouman Ali Khan and one of his suggestions was that every one of us should try to memorize one ayah a day.

If we read just 4 pages of Quran in the 10 or 15 minutes before each prayer, then that would be one Juz (20 pages) each day. In this way the reading of whole Quran could be completed in a month with ease, with Allah’s Help. This is my intention and may Allah Help all those who ask for His Help, ameen.

MashaAllah beautiful goals! May Allah bless you all to achieve them and more. I hope everyone had a great Eid.

Sister Dalia, I suggest that you listen to a reciter like Hodaify to help you with tajweed, and also if you can, recite to a teacher/sister who can listen to you. Also, keep a consistent goal inshaAllah so that you can keep up with it.

Eid Mubaraak sister. Apologies for the late wished but better late than never. I hope you had a really blessed Ramadaan and insha Allaah we hope Allaah will enable us all to be better this year than we were last and enable us to live to another Ramadaan if that is good for us. Ameen.

May Allaah accept all our efforts and guide to more good deeds. Ameen.
