Alhamdulillahi ‘alaa ni’matil Islaam.

Alhamdulillah I grew up in Canada (OTTAWA :) )  and lived there for most of my life, and one thing that I have noticed from living in my community here in the US and living there is that the youth there are much more active mashaAllah. I really miss the activism. Especially in cities like Toronto, where Al-Huda is located, and the Tale of Two Cities umrah trip I went on in 06– organized by Shabab Canada, are just awesome. Although alhamdulillah the US has much greater access to students of knowledge, Imaams and events than in Canada. So walhamdulillah, each place has its pros and cons.
